Meet BB-9E: BB8's evil cousin in the next 'Star Wars' movie

Walmart, Target, Toys R Us bet big on 'Star Wars' Force Friday

Snoke can only be found at GameStop, the individual guard is at Amazon, the 4-pack guards of evil (which spans the entire franchise) is exclusive to GameStop, the Disney Store, and Barnes & Noble, and the Obi-Wan Kenobi Force Ghost can be purchased at Walgreens.

Lenovo has announced that their Star Wars-themed augmented reality platform will launch this holiday season for $199.

"Star Wars" fans are going to the dark side.

The Posh Paws Star Wars toy range is priced between £5.99 and £34.99, and is available from September - December in Sainsbury's, Argos, Hamley's, Harrods, Toys R Us, Amazon & Debenhams. The #BeJediReady events will come nearly a year to the day after Walmart started an earlier-than-usual holiday layaway program in advance of the December 2016 theatrical release of series spin-off "Star Wars: Rogue One".

You can't force good conversation, but since the galaxy far, far away flooded us with a ton of new collectibles before tomorrow's second Force Friday, there was plenty to discuss on today's Nerdist News Talks Back.

Players will hone their Jedi talents across a variety of augmented reality-based experiences, each offering multiple levels of deep and immersive gameplay.

The Archivist instructs players in the ways of the Force and the knowledge of the Jedi.

The Mirage headset is powered by your smartphone; you'll just slide your device into the provided tray, and the bundle comes with adapters for Lightning, micro-USB, and USB Type-C. Maybe you want a little BB-8 to follow you around everywhere, maybe you want to chill out in a slimy bar to play some Holochess, but most of you probably want to pick up a Lightsaber and show Kylo Ren who is in charge around here.

"Then you'll create your own trailer complete with titles, transitions, sound effects, and official Star Wars music using iPad and iMovie", says the description on Apple's website.

James Burns from Jedi News, one of a group of "Star Wars" superfans given an early look at the AR scene, said, "What better way to start "Force Friday II" than to see a Star Destroyer over your favorite city landmark - it's stunning!"
