Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Make First Public Appearance Together

Aussies shine in first day of Invictus Games

Still reeling from the sight of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry holding hands at the Invictus Games earlier today?

Prince Harry, right, arrives with his girlfriend Meghan Markle at the wheelchair tennis competition during the Invictus Games in Toronto on Monday, September 25, 2017.

She was wearing a £221 white shirt named The Husband - designed by her friend Misha Nonoo. The event marks the first time the pair have been seen together at an official event.

The couple sat in the front row of the wheelchair tennis semi-final at the Invictus Games for wounded warriors in Toronto, Canada as Aussie athletes did battle with the Kiwis.

The couple took in a match of the wheelchair tennis. Both wore dark sunglasses on an uncommonly hot sunny day for Toronto in late September.

While the couple's displays of affection were public, they both still made a decision to hide their eyes behind sunglasses.

The prince, who was not joined by girlfriend Meghan Markle, met hospital staff and young patients before greeting fans and posing for pictures outside.

While it's no secret that the pair are dating, they've been notoriously private about their relationship, and photos of the two partaking in some PDA have been far and few between.

"They seemed really relaxed as a couple".

"Intriguingly one of Harry's Scotland Yard (taxpayer-funded) personal protection officers standing in a stairwell next to #MeghanMarkle", Rebecca wrote on Twitter.

In a 2015 interview, the prince spoke of hoping to find someone to sit next to him. "I think it would be quite marvelous", he shared, adding, "it will help to bring us together".

How cute are Meghan Markle and Prince Harry!

Harry confirmed their relationship last November, with the two having been linked since July 2016.

(Markle lives in Toronto and films Suits in the city.) "It's also a cause near and dear to Prince Harry's heart, and to have Meghan there to show her support in such a public way is telling".
