North Korea hackers steal South Korea war plans

Pyongyang conducted its fifth nuclear test on the anniversary of the founding day of North Korea past year.

A spokesman for the South's Joint Chiefs of Staff said its military was closely monitoring the movements of the North Korean army and maintaining full readiness.

One of the contingency plans contained the South Korean military's plan to remove the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, referred to as the "decapitation" plan, should war break out on the Korean Peninsula, the lawmaker, Rhee Cheol-hee, told reporters.

The website hinted that North Korea would be operating the complex on its own: "The factories in our complex will be running even more vigorously".

The official noted that the ownership of factories and facilities inside the inter-Korean factory zone belongs to South Korean companies.

North Korea has tested almost two dozen ballistic missiles this year, including an intercontinental ballistic missile able to strike parts, if not most, of the continental US, and a staged thermonuclear bomb with an explosive yield significantly higher than anything the regime has previously tested.

According to him, the information he has received in the Ministry of defense of South Korea. Even mercenaries from seven vassal countries, including Australia and the United Kingdom, have joined them.

News of the data breach - and what was stolen - comes amid high tension on the Korean peninsula.

"The main reason for that is that North Korea's nuclear tests and especially missile tests affected Japan", Stoychev said.

"I can't reveal further details because they are a military secret", Rhee said, according to the paper.

He warned that the country is now increasing its cyber-warfare activities and may soon become a "premier league" player in cyber-warfare.

North Korea has called on its citizens to be ready for a nation-wide struggle against "war thirsty" US President Donald Trump and his "gangster-like moves for domination and aggression". The North regularly threatens to destroy the South and its main ally, the United States.

Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un have been engaged in an increasingly bellicose exchange of rhetoric, with Trump suggesting the military option was the only way to halt the North's missile and nuclear programs. But China has repeatedly pressed South Korea to withdraw the missile system out of concern that the deployment could hurt Beijing's security interests.
