Make friends on the go with Animal Crossing Pocket Camp

Animal Crossing mobile game details will finally be revealed on October 24

What's promising, though, is that this looks as close to a fully-fledged Animal Crossing title as we dared to hope for mobile. You can choose to be a girl or a boy, and customize things like skin color, hair color and eye color. Users can customize their own characters and build their own houses.

Leaf Tickets are another form of currency in Animal Crossing Pocket Camp. Instead of managing a small village, players are tasked to manage a single campsite.

Nintendo has shown off its latest game for iPhone and Android handsets, following in the tracks of Super Mario Run and Miitomo.

In Animal Crossing mobile there's a social element. As expected, the game will essentially be a streamlined version of contemporary installments in the popular community management simulation franchise, allowing players to create and decorate their camps, make friends with various animals, and then host them at their campsites. They'll be looking for fish, fruit, bugs, and other things to get their camping adventures started-and when you help them out, you'll earn Bells and craft materials in return! Microtransactions range from $1.49 to $62.99 an item, according to the Google Play page.

A multiplayer feature lets players exchange ID numbers to visit each others' campsites.

You'll be able to play starting in late November.

Nintendolife, a prominent source for excellent Nintendo related gaming news believes we could see an extensive Animal Crossing game. Bells can be used to purchase furniture, decorations, clothing and other customization items. You can also head to the Market Place to visit pop up shops like Able Sisters To Go, Nookling Global, and Kicks.

You can pre-register through here to get notified when Pocket Camp hits the store. This is done through Leaf Tickets, which can be bought with real-world money as well as earned in-game.

OK Motors: Remember that camper that was mentioned a few bullets back?

You can travel between hot spots on the map via your camper, which should make getting around and chatting with the campers you're hanging with a breeze. Once a villager's favourite kind of furniture is in the camp, they'll hang around more and maybe become your friend.

The long-promised Animal Crossing mobile game has finally been announced, but it's not quite what you might have been expecting.
