Samsung Galaxy S9 topples iPhone X as best smartphone display

In addition to the above design improvements, Samsung focused on camera features in the Galaxy S9 Plus.

Samsung has confirmed that it's working on a Galaxy X foldable smartphone that the company says, won't be a "gimmick". Otherwise, this is the same Galaxy S8 that is sold by the carriers.

Central to the Galaxy S9 Plus vs iPhone X debate is the display size of the two devices, and the recent Samsung release undoubtedly wins out here. In the download below, you will get the Message app v5.0.00.128, My Emoji Maker, and the Camera app v8.0.75.

When deciding on a plan, we recommend that you get one that fulfils your monthly usage.

For the 64GB and 128GB models, it comes in Midnight Black, Coral Blue and Lilac Purple, however, the 256GB model is only available in Midnight Black for the time being. Recently DxOMark, which is known for testing and rating smartphone cameras, has placed Samsung Galaxy S9+ as the best camera ahead of both its rivals.

So with that in mind we're going to see how the newly announced Samsung Galaxy S9 looks next to the Pixel 2. Both the front and cameras on these devices will be developed in partnership with Leica.

Most of the bulk goes towards making this a hardier phone than the Galaxy S8. The highlight of the smartphone is the camera which is capable of shooting super slow motion videos at 960fps at 720p resolution. This affordable device is also expected to come with certain features from the flagships i.e. 18:9 aspect ratio, notch design, and similar dual cameras. Both phones feature optical image stabilisation, dualpixel autofocus and variable aperture (f1.5 or f2.4) for more versatility; low light + sharper images in daylight.

More attractive features on the phone include the super slow -mo video that qualifies the device to shoot slow-motion video at 960 frames per second.

The iPhone X is Apple's first smartphone to sport an OLED display. With close attention to the needs of the market, the company has a chance to introduce something novel and get people talking about the Galaxy Note 9 in the same way they were talking about the iPhone X. They are both very good looking phones, but we will hand this to the Sirocco by a thin margin simply because it looks so different for a Nokia phone, and well, being slimmer (7.5 mm to 8.5 mm) and more compact, thanks to its smaller display, does give it an edge.

Since this year's premium flagship has already hit the bull's eye with these test results it might be tough for other contemporaries like Apple and Google to match up to the superior Galaxy S9 with their upcoming flagships this year.
